Corporate control of the cash alternative
Giving drivers the option of a cash alternative, in lieu of a company car, has its risks:

Fleet Management relieves the customer of the day-to-day administrative and management tasks associated with running the company car fleet. The customer also benefits from the economies of scale brought about by Auric purchasing leverage on servicing and replacement parts and its professional approach to cost control.

The management fee is calculated on a 'per car, per month' basis.

Fleet Management can be used in conjunction with any form of customer funding; Outright Purchase, Finance Lease or Lease Purchase.

Auric eliminates these fears. Designed to bring both greater management control to drivers by protecting both employer and employee interests.

Auric works with employers to define a set of criteria to ensure that both employer and employee derive maximum benefit from the cash on offer. This includes establishing corporate guidelines on how the cash alternative can be used; type of vehicle, age of vehicle, length of term, etc. This can, if desired, mirror existing company car policy, thus making the car to cash transition seamless.

Once criteria have been established, all driver communication is handled by Auric, with the employer relieved of all administrative matters, although there is the facility for payments to be deducted from payroll.

With Auric, and unlike manufacturer schemes, choice is not marque restricted and, as the programme is financed through the right choice of bank, it is estimated that costs may be up to 10% cheaper than such schemes. In addition, any economies from volume purchase are passed on to drivers.
